    Perfect, Cimon - Could Brutus have been so out of touch with Roman politics thathe truly anticipated a spontaneous renewal of the Republic?

    And I must add, having picked up a lovely quote on him from a later historian (I'll try to look it up tonight) - how could he turn on a man who had, in every conceivable way, been his personal and family benefactor?
