The Britons under Vortigern and the Franks under Pharamond were defeated by the Romans in 428. Ambrosius was called upon by Aetius, the emperor's chief-of-staff to help against an invasion of Gaul by the Lombards and Angles under Chlodio. While in Gaul, Vortigern defeated Ambrosius's brother, Eutherius, who sailed to Gaul to join his brother, leaving Vortigern to rule Briton.

Pharamond married Argotta, aslo known as Rosamonde. She appears to be a Cambrian princess, and is called a Judeo-Frankish princess. Both Pharamond and Rosamonde have a desposyn line, suggesting they are descended from King David.

Ambrosius delayed his return to Britian due to the outbreak of a civil war over these dynastic lines. Rosamonde/Argotta called "the ancestress of the French royal line." She was the mother of Merovee, who is said to have mated with a sea-beast called the Quintitaur. Rosamonde-Argotta married a Quintus Tarus who I believe is the Quintitaur. He is descended from a mysterious Lombard-Frankish princess, who I suspect is the daughter of Alboin 'King of Lombards', his second wife Rosamund taking her to the emperor at Ravena after she assasinated Alboin.

It apears there are one too many Queens of the Cambrians, and one two many Kings. But, all the Queens of Avalon are given the name Rosamundi.

    I have returned!
