-- Rat-Atat-Touille = Seggretary of Defense

Ovarium: A council, selected by lottery every three months from the general population (known as The Shell), Natives and those emigrating to join us, that bring concerns to the Eggligarchy. Also has power to form committees to solve difficulties as they arrive.

Miltiary/Diplomatic Objectives: Other settlements and the Natives have positions in The Frittata, a diplomatic group that works with the Scrambled Egg in order to quell disputes. Members wear a Mood-Torc, a braided silver necklace with a mysterious crystal that senses feelings, and allows truth-proving when in the presence of an ORB sceptre wielded by a Blessed Virgin of the ORB.

If talks break down, there are several solutions offered (in no particular order, and not necessarily all at once, but always from this list, with extra offers debated in secret depending on the opposing culture involved):

-- a) An evening with the Benedicta at a seance with dead relatives;

-- b) A one-night stay at the premier Egg & Ham Lincoln bedroom suite for ministers of other realms;

-- c) Decorative tableware, or pots and pans with Nua Ova heraldry;

-- d) Authentic body-part reproductions of the seven Book of Days prophets -- Foo Yong, Flans, Quichee, Omelletta, Count Custard, Sister Souffle, and Po Ched;

-- e) A pre-paid one-month delivered-in-person (by a Blessed Acolyte of the ORB) subscription to Ovarium Pride, the official newspaper of Nua Ova;

-- f) If Natives are involved, spies go forth amongst the land with Shaver Squadrons, as the hirsute women warriors believe their hair is their strength & honor; the resulting nakedness will force will force their annual Orgy of Replenishment, ending any hostilities.

If all else fails, and no settlement seems possible without bloodshed, ballistae are loaded with fine smoked meats, pate', kegs-o'-beer, and whatever else might get the enemy more interested in sitting down and talking, as feasting is often more fun than fighting.
