Nesu-bity User-Maat-Re Step-en-Re Ra-messe (Ramesses II) is perhaps better known for his monuments acroos Egypt (many of which where inscribed with his name though created and built by other Paharohs), and his extended number of wives. He is known to have had 10 Great Royal Wives, two who were his daughters by other wives. The best known of his wives was Nefer-tari for whom he built the most beautiful tomb in the Valley of the Queens. He is also known for the great size of his family - 55 sons at the last counting.
This must make him one of the greatest rulers of ancient Egypt.
