So… Gobby goes down to the pub and has his pint, or two, or three. The talk tonight is all about a new place that’s just opened up. Well… not JUST opened up. But as things go in the etherial world, it’s fairly new. But there’s good music, good drink and lotsa "hotties", as they say. Good food can be had there and, near and dear to an old Celt’s heart, there’s plenty of room for dancing. The name of the place? Why, it’s "The Four Corners Bar and Grille.

"So, just where is this place?"Gobby asks. "And how do how get there?"

Katie the Barmaid leans her ample charms on the mahogany and says to him, "Of course! It’s right where it says it is!" She gives Gobby a broad wink. "It’s where the realms of Celtia, Aegypt, Roma and those new folk, The Americas, just happen tae meet and overlap a bit. Right there at The Four Corners!" She takes a swipe at an invisible stain on the bar. "Tae git there, ye have but tae follow the winding path through The Otherlands. Keep headin’ towards the bright red glow. That be from their new sign, a-hangin’ way up in the sky." She picks up a glass and polishes it with her apron. "Mind ye now… steer clear of that dark portal that says ‘All Hope Abandon, Ye Who Enter Here!’ That’s somethin’ cooked up by them Christians tae snag the unwary traveler."

Gobby notes all this by notching a swizzle-stick with Ogham runes. Tucking his ‘map’ in his pocket, he rushes home to find Biddy asleep by the fireside, knitting completely forgotten. "Wake up, woman! Set yer knittin’ aside. Go get yerself cleaned up. We’re goin’ OUT!

"Gaw-beee?" she whines. "What ‘re ye talkin’ about? Are ye drunk again?"

"Not in the least!" he replies. "At least, not any more than the usual!

Biddy looks at him and sees he’s truly serious. With a confused shrug, she stuffs her knitting into a bag and sets about ‘cleaning up’. This entails switching into her ‘Brighid’ outfit, which just happens to take many years off her current age. Meanwhile, Gobby gets all spruced up in his best ‘Pub Goin’ clothes, which has a similar effect on the old man.

He takes a long and appreciative look at his rejuvenated partner and grins. "You DO clean up quite nice!" he exclaims. "Tonight, Sweetheart, we are gonna PARTEEEEE!"
