I hope all the best for Titania. Is the avatar a picture of her? What a beauty! It's hard to see your cat suffer and not being able to do anything about it. It's sad that you cannot help her. Even vets shed a tear when they are at a loss.
When a cat needs or wants to move on, it surely gives you clear signs about it. Signs that you, as its companion, can recognize and relate to.
I remember when one of my cats gave me those signals. The vet still wanted to help him with antibiotics, but the disease he was suffering from had spread very rapidly and it had really knocked him down. After a day in observation at the vet's station, he just moved on, all by himself, in the middle of the night. It was his time.
Of course, we cried. What can you do? A cat has so much love to give. A cat can be a real comrade. Like a human being. A friend. A "Mensch". That's what a cat can give you and that's why we, catlovers, cry when we lose our cats to infinity.
As long as you will have Titania, she will be there for you and purr when you're near her. I don't know how she is going to say goodbye. No one can really predict that about a cat. Maybe you know....
I hope, though, that she's without pain in her last days. That she will move on in a good and dignified way. I am sure that she will always be remembered...
