Right. I've taken auspicies for battle, just to see how the wind is blowing at this particular juncture. However, we have one last card to play before launching any sort of attack.
Send for King Alexander at Dodona. He is to come to Nicopolis and try to talk sense to these people, to tell them to surrender to us and accept his rule. He is to be well protected while meeting with this delegation. If these people are convinced that it is King Alexander and that they should be loyal to him, then that's one battle we won't have to fight.
Send a messenger to Nicopolis. Tell them that we have the king, and ask them to send a delegation to our camp upon his arrival. The safety of the delegation is guaranteed. Then they can make up their minds as to whether or not they want to continue resistance.
That is all for now. Let's see what the diplomatic winds are before we start clanging our swords against our shields.
