As mentioned by Kallistos, there is a new group for experimenting with the possibilities of audio and video. The new group is called Mediaphiles. It's in its construction phase.

It will deal with audio, video, the audio post, hardware, html code, programs and anything to do with extended media application. It won't be a technical group, though that level is more than welcome. There will be tutorials for beginners and a place to tout your latest podcast or musical composition. You can even make regular posts with audio.
