Not sure if everyone has heard or not, but another tomb has been found in the Valley of the Kings. An American archaeology team found it while performing routine work on KV-10. They've managed to excavate the new tomb down to its entrance and have been able to see inside. It's a single-chambered tomb that seems to hold five (tho I've heard six as well) sarcophagi possibly dating to approximately the 18th Dynasty. The tomb itself is located very near to Tutankhamen's so it should be interesting to see if it's connected in any way to him and who exactly was buried there.

I haven't been able to find any news on the team entering the tomb, but I definitely plan on keeping an eye out. This is very exciting news, especially since everyone had given up on the Valley.
