Is it just me, or is Gladiator the most historicaly inaccurate movie to ever win an Academy Award? Is it Bravehart, or perhaps something else? ...

I just never could bring myself to go see Knight's Tale, posibly because I just don't care for Richard Gere. However, Excalibur was just tons of fun.

Sure, Excalibur is wildly anachronistic and all wrong for the "real" Arthur, if there ever was one, but it was fun. Plus I am a sucker for Wagner and Orff's "Carmina Burana." And the sight of Capt. Picard in a knight's get up is kinda amusing, too. Of course, Nicole Williamson damn near runs away with the movie, shamelessly camping it up as Merlin all through it.

You folks aren't going to try to tell me that Malory's "Le Morte D'arthur" is dead accurate to reality, are you?
