As for historical records from the Qin dynasty, I can only recommend the Shi-ji which are also called the Records of the Grand Historian. Those were the records that would set the bases for all dynastic records afterdwards. Written by Si-Ma Qian and completed by his son under the reign of the Emperor Wu, they cover China's history from the Yellow Emperor to their time (2nd century BC), hence covering the Qin dynasty as well. I wish however to underline the fact that, since those records were written by a dynasty that wished to keep their distances with the Qin for several reasons, they tend to depict it in a poor light.
