Pennsylvania, again, at night. The harvest moon rose slowly above the treetops, shining it's eerie light over the small sleepy town. As I turn to look for my friend Doug, a scream split the night. He had rushed out of the party; why I do not know.

I raced outside in the direction of the scream, shining my flashlight here and there. Along the edge of the lake I could just make out the shadows of two people. "Who were they?", I asked myself. It couldn't be Doug because he was not that tall, and the other shadow was weirdly...misshapen, somehow.
