When Camulos ( the group) first started in the ole sod o'Tara way back when, it was named for the Celtic God of War. As I recall Camulos is the Irish/ British god and the Gauls had a different one. Again this is all information told to me at the time. So therefore I think it would be an appropriate name for a Celtic warfare thread, embracing the ancient through Dark Age eras in Celtic history. Frankly I think what you call it is far less important than
getting the thread/group up. If there is a demand for it of course. Although I'm not terribly interested personally I don't see why Owain or anyone else couldn't simply start a thread and see if it flies. Thats the way they did it before and there was no shortage of posts in old Tara at AS. Beats endless discussions that go in circles and acccomplish very little but alas those "non sanctified" threads have them deleted so I guess you have to wait for the rulers here to create something they find acceptable. Otherwise it may go the way of Dermott's Pub, that other real short lived one, or the Croppy Boy's earlier rather feeble attempt to create a military thread. In his case it was up awhile before veing deleted and had only the post by someone chatising him for not following the established" procedure, which I assume means emdless debate to arrive at a broad consensus on each thread/ group that is to be allowed.
