I'm doing some iconographic research and I thought I might as well post the results here. These helmets were worn by Goths and Romans alike around the 4th century. I've found them mentioned on the Osprey book about Adrianople. By the way, the book says there are no contemporary images of Gothic warriors, which might be an explanation of why I'm finding so few iconographic sources. Once again, is it because of the Byzantine's damnatio memoriae? I have found more helmets in the past weeks, I'll add them as I dig out again the links.

There is a simpler model of ridge-style helmet at the Germanische Museum in Nuremberg, but I can't find a pic online. By the way, the Nuremberg museum hosts part of the Domagnano treasure - the rest is at the British Museum.
