    Sorry, but I can't understand the word glomus/glomeres, but . . . here's my guess. The hint: primus glomeres est animal et secundus glomus est ventus. Translation: First he is an animal, then he becomes the wind. The Dacian battle standard featured long, colored bands of cloth hanging from a bright, metal wolf's head. When the wind blew, the standard gave a ferocious aspect, and a possibly a whipping sound that scared the enemy and encouraged those who carried it in battle.
