The Golden Globe nominations are out, and Rome (although it didn't get nearly as many as I would have chosen) came out with several nominations, including:

Best Dramatic Television Series
Best Dramatic Actress - Polly Walker (Atia)

I don't know that the Golden Globes do art direction, costuming, set design, and all the technical categories - I haven't been able to find any. But on ALL of those categories, I dearly hope we'll see more nominations.

My own private thoughts?

Best Actor in A Dramatic Series - Ciaran Hinds
Best Supporting Actor - James Purefoy (with the problem that I'd also like to see Octavian in this category)
Best Supporting Actress - Lindsay Duncan (Servilia)

Of course, what do we do then with Vorenus and Pullo, arrrgh! How about awards for everyone, including the dog?
