What were they doing "in the middle of the action"?
I was under impression that traditionally families used to stay home, in Rome or the vicinity...
Even in the series themselves we don't see, for instanse, Cato' or Cicero' wives and children sitting along the fire right next to the battlefield.
And another ponder: Who are those children?
I doubt Pompey had children with Cornelia as he married her quite recently to the events, so even if he did there would be maximum a baby-toddler.
While his previous children should be much older than those appearing in the series...
And i see the point made in this thread why couldn't they make a scene on Pharsalus. Still a pity :(
