This isn't really the forum for this, but I don't seem to know any Egyptians, so: Does anyone know anything about Egyptian weaponry from the New Kingdom? I need a translation for "Entenschnabeläxte", which translates literally as "duck-beak axes". Any help is appreciated and you can take satisfaction in having contributed (anonymously) to an upcoming volume of Brill's New Pauly.
