As far as I know, Cimon, (but of course I may be wrong) what comes up in search engines is mainly the titles of posts. So it is useful to make post titles significant, as we usually do ;-) and not the odd Hmmm or Aaah that can also be seen around the site.
I don't think that appointing Tom Holland to a different position at ADI would change anything. However, if you do a Google search, you will find links to posts with his name on the title.
You will also find different Tom Hollands :-)

Anyway, it's up to Heraklia of course :-) For myself, I like to see TH around here for the pleasure of his company and for his own enjoyment of the site.
