...you are going to be astonished to discover this work to contain the greatest eulogy to divine Pan since the disappearance of ancient Arcadia; marvel at the subtle way Grahame handles Race Issues (and this in the Edwardian era!); and come across an old old companion - the long, bitter Class War of the 20th century as foretold at it's very outset by this visionary, so-called 'children's' author.
