When all the merchants left the Eunuchs ship and went our separate ways I was glad to get back to work, even though most of the day was gone. Purchasing goods had never been something I enjoyed, i guess most merchants felt that way, parting with their money. I knew it was a silly mind set that one puts themselves into but, years of trading does that.

Once i arrived back at the estate i parked my cart before evening veiled the heavens, and I took advantage of this to have a quick look around. I was amazed at the transformation my servant Kokachin had made. It was hard to believe that so much had been accomplished in just one day.

As i approached the courtyard i could see that Kokachin had prepared a meal which she was just about to serve up. I smiled as she came to greet me. "I have prepared your dinner mistress. One of the household slaves had seen you leaving the ship and arrived home before you. Dinner is light mistress as there was talk that the mesopotamian Eunuch had put on a feast earlier that afternoon." Not wanting to have to discuss the full details with Kokachin just yet, I sat down to a bowl of meat and vegetables with wine and proceeded to eat.
