Kokachins organising was almost completed. The estate was cleaned furnished and waiting for its mistress to return. Kokachin new she had ample time on her hands so with a handlful of slaves she visited the marketplace to stock up on necassary foods for at least a day or two. The one good thing about where the estate was located was at the very end of the market street making access so very easy.
Now, once Kokachin and her mistresses slaves arrived in the most busy area of the marketplace, which at this time of the day was still pretty busy Kokachin was distracted by some of the street festivities that was performing. These performers were jugglers and fire eaters and magicians from the east. They were colorful and entertaining something that Kokachin rearly saw at marketplaces. Besides the magicians there were other groups of entertainers further along the street such as poets and small play groups.
Kokachins distraction was entertaining to say the least, but she managed to pull herself aswell as the slaves away and continue on further away from all the entertainment. There was an open meat market which she stoped at and a row of vegy stalls just next door. Food was pretty cheap here and especially fresh. Many of the produce were from local farmers and gardners, orchard owners and fishing villagers from the surrounding islands. Winerys were also local aswell as plentiful. Kokachin also saw many other industries that this island produced and not forgetting the busy harbour with fleets of tradeships moored in the bay. After her stroll along the marketplace Kokachin with the help of her slaves gathered what they have bought and headed back to the estate....
