Gentlemen, let's not loose track of ourselves in this discussion.
Caius Livius' advocate has rightly stressed that his was the only claim being made in this court regarding the races' correct procedure, and the issue he raised was, was there anything in the records that suggested there could have been more to his chariot's bad results in the last three races than pure bad luck.
An arbiter was agreed on to review the records; this was Dasius Blasius, who stated that apart few minor errors in teams experience book keeping, [he] can affirm the proper procedures has been followed.
According to Blasius the incorrect experience attributed to Caius Livius' team will not have significantly altered the outcome of the races for him, and no significant damages will have been incurred. There is therefore no case.
I further recommend the Aedile, Caius Livius and the other concerned team owners to either drop the matter or entirely discard the results of the November races in their quest for the Golden Whip trophy. Adding or subtracting points, increasing the prize money or penalising teams now would only add to the mess.
The Aedile is to pay a fine of 216D to the court for his responsibility in the affair and to pay for court expenses.
