Look in the in the bible – the Old Testament (the King James Version is the best)
    Books;
    Exodus 34: 11-16
    Deuteronomy 2: 33
    Deut. 3: 3-7
    Deut. 21: 10-14
    Deut. 12: 2, 3
    Joshua 6: 19
    Josh. 6: 24
    Josh. 10
    Judges 2: 13
    Judges 3: 7
    Samuel 7: 3, 4
    I Kings 15: 13
    Kings 16: 13
    II Kings 23: 4-7
    II Kings 17: 9
    Jeremiah 44: 15-18
…there is much more, but it would get messy..

As you read you get the picture that the Levite priests had a lot of aggression toward the Goddess religion and purposely mispronounced and misspelt Her name, using where possible the male gender of her name and where applicable, the name Boseth (meaning- shame)

See also, The Goddess, who has many names…Astarte, Asherah, Ashtoreth(the male gender of Her name), Attoret, Anath, (Elat or simply Baalat all defined as Goddess), Mistress of the high heavens, Mistress of Kingship etc
Check out Northern and Southern Canaan & the cities which belonged to Asherah
    See also-The Asherim
Message me if you require more…happy reading
