    Hring án gewalde...I found this great link to an OE "ring verse" supposedly found in the rebinding of the manuscript of a french romance. The author then very cleverly relates it to the Tolkien "translation" of the verse in Black Speech. All in all, very clever and funny, but not silly or condescending to the material. And reading the verse in the OE is pretty fun. You read it and think, "really??" then realize it's a great, well, er, *something*. "Parody" isn't right, but it's like a literary parody + homage. Check it out.
