Your solution would be acceptable to me if you would include my own appointed arbiter to check the aedile's records so as to ensure conformity.
OOC: Whilst it is entirely likely that the performances are coincidence, there is a suspicion in my mind that the spreadsheet file that he uses (supplied by Fabio) may have either a fault or perhaps been corrupted by the entry of a figure in a cell where a formula should exist. The best way to check this is for MLU to send the file he is using to Fabio for him to check over and if necessary repair (hence Fabio as my 'appointed arbiter'). If a fault is found then he can inform the MLU and yourself and this may give rise to MLU having to consider damages for affected team owners or not (depending if the error was pre-existant or caused by him).
Either way it will be fun to make a IC 'case' rather than an ooc one. Can you imagine the uproar if the whole year's racing series is thrown into discussion? ;-)
