Greetings friend!

Forgive me for not writing sooner but I have become embroiled in the politics of the Exiles and have successfully persuaded them to return to Rome. However, there is a potentially fractious element in the form of Cnaeus Domitius. He will not accept the Senate's decision and may decide to fight.

To combat this, I ask you to bring the XXVth, the Nabataeans and the Exile forces to Ephesus as soon as possible. When you arrive, I have to leave for Rome with the senators as part of the conditions that they return. Therefore that will leave you as de facto governor of Asia Province alongside Marcus Porcius Cato.

I ask that you treat him well as he has given his support to our cause. Act merely as his military commander unless he tries to do something stupid.
