I could tell he was embarassed, but, the state of things didn't phase me, after he left my room, which was more than I had hoped for, I looked out the window and could see some of the ships coming in...I noticed the flags of a Royal Babylonian ship and decided to get to work. My room could wait, instead, I went downstairs and mopped, dusted, cobweb hunted, and killed every varmit I found. When at last the bar shone like Ra, I moved my way to each guest room. I chased every dust bunnie, cleaned every blanket, made every bed, swept every room, and made sure there was enough oil in each lamp, but the nicest room we had, I laid out incense, plenty of lamps and made sure the mattress was beaten and fitted with fresh bedclothes. I even made a point of putting a sweet upon the pillow. I did all I could to help get the place in order, I just hoped Tassos would be pleased enough to keep my secrets...at least the ones he knows.
