I just dug around in there for about 20 minutes and plan to go back again. Thanks for sharing that! If you are a fan of Arabian nights you may also enjoy this book I recently read (and reccommended to Damon a few days ago) called The Angel with One Hundred Wings by Daniel Horch. It's an extended tale from The Arabian Nights and is beautifully told. The story follows Abulhassan, an elderly pharmacist and spare-time alchemist trying to help his young friend and the sultan's latest mistress while maintaining his long term friendship with the sultan himself. Fun story, well told and recreated a great feel for 9th century Baghad. I love the charactor of his wife in this book, he tells her story without any words but alot of well placed disapproving looks. LOL
