Hey all, I'm Miyabi. I'm currently a history major in school, with Asia being my main area of study. If all goes according to plan, I'm planning to teach after I graduate.

I'm an anime/manga fan, but nowhere near rabid. I don't swear that it's the be all and end all of everything, but if I come across a series that catches my interest [Currently it's D. Gray-man], I *will* be fixated on it for a while. I'm also a visual kei junkie. I'd say roughly 85% of the music I listen to now is of the visual kei/angura kei/oshare kei variety.

I'm studying Japanese on and off. I'd like to have more time to dedicate to it, but my schedule doesn't allow for it right now. Maybe one day I'll be able to hold a conversation, but that's not any time soon.

I also try to draw manga-style. Key word here being "try".
