Wow, that's some image & it looks as if a bit of effort has gone into this series.

As usual, the BBC has forked out big moolah for an American series only to show it seriously late (has still not even begun here in the UK).

I also feel compelled to point out (as the killjoy I'm well known to be in these parts!) that the Forum as shown in this image - "Pompey's Wedding" - gorgeous as it is, would have contained just about NONE of the edifices portrayed in the 1st century BC. What I see here is essentially the Forum at the height of the late, late Empire,
