    Personally I like the filter. Have read mixed reviews about it since it came out (in 2000 I think) and it does have it's problems. It is not intuitive, you have to start over from scratch every time though it has preset saves and all that. In comparison to Blade Pro or Super Blade Pro it's really hard to justify it's cost.

    While it creates a true liquid metal look in a way that Blade Pro cannot even come close to, it in turn cannot achieve the same results that Blade Pro can from it's bevel abilities. It is not Dreamsuite's primary bevel filter is why, that is called Dimension X which I like not at all LOL. But it does have height and bevel style attributes built into Liquid Metal, but if you have the settings too high it turns portions of the image transparent.

    It seems like the filter does not have a base under setting, like it only applies the image, gleam, color and texture to what areas you bevel it to and nothing under it. So if you tell it to have a deep curve to say for example the letter X, the several pixels on the outer edge will not show at all. Odd filter. But for a base Liquid Metal look I've yet to find anything that comes close. An example is the best homes design, it's gold liquid metal applied to a selected house shape I designed;

    In fact, I've been meaning to post a full review of this software and I have images already made for it, just never finished the text. I'll do that now, I am a true filter hound. LOL and wish I'd known some of this before buying filters. Some have turned out to be a complete waste of money, others priceless.
