Quietly I am strumming the guitar and contemplating the mysterious stones with Egyption markings that have been shown to me. They seem to come from all over the Americas. Now this young Mexican woman dressed in yellow feathers burst into my tent and throws herself at me.
"Shush!" Is all that I can think, then she grabs my guitarra and begins to play and sing softly in a most professional way. I am embarrased! What will people think? What will Najia think? The woman who tells me she is a star in her own country. I can believe it. She sings she dances and she is a beauty beyond compare. What does she want? What is she doing here. I go outside to the campfire and begin to make coffee.
The woman follows me. She can not be much more than twenty. I want to cover her, for she seems to be clad only in feathers. I offer her a coffee. She is most brazen, looking directly into my eyes. Pleading and asking for my help. I examine her lovely outstreatched arm. There is the eye of Ra. "How long have you had this I ask her?"
