After all these years of the occasional "Cleopatra" shot or the art of Alma-Tadema, this series is almost visually too much to handle. Messalina, where did you find that great shot of Pompey's wedding?

I guess they'll eventually roll onto the web, but if you find a place with good graphics to download, please let me know. I plan to steal as many graphics as I can for future reference, because they beat anything I've ever seen, so far.
