One of my sources for fonts, Fontcraft Sciptorium, has just emailed to say that they they are donating the proceeds of the sales of designated fonts to the Red Cross Disaster Relief for Hurricane Katrina. I thought Arachnids with an interest in fonts would want to know and can access the site at www.fontcraft.com. However, it is wise to bear in mind the contents of this post by Jullila Sempronius but Fontcraft certainly existed before and have been selling fonts for several years.

I would like to take the opportunity of sending my good wishes to all those at AW affected by this disaster and our hopes and prayers that they and their families are safe. There are some messages in Arachne's Coffeehouse Proper about the disaster but the main area for comment is The Graffiti Thrreadd.

I am sure that our immediate concerns remain with those still suffering in so many ways. It is good to see the AW virtual community being caring and supportive.
