Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

Balbus' fleet had arived slowly to Syria.

He heard the news immediately on arriving that Pompey had been injured in Lycia.

"Thats something of a relief." he thought. The man could hardly be his friend.

"I guess i can only march to Antioch, for now. Strange though...I think I outrank everyone here." Balbus laughed to himself.

ooc: marching with the II italica to Antioch. that is in the same province so i will meet Gnaeus Minor tomorrow.
