Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

    To Cnaeus Pompeius Minor

Brother, forgive my tardiness in replying but I have only just arrived at Xanthos to find the lady Porcia Catonis trying to commit suicide in our father's room! I prevented this snub to his sacrifice but was confronted by that imbecile Brutus. I had to use all my restraint to not punch him.

As for father's condition, I have spoken to his doctor and he wants to keep father here for the next two weeks just to be safe. He says that the head wound is healing well and that father's breathing is strong. It merely appears that he is just sleeping heavily.

Together we will return to Antioch in a fortnight, but before that I intend to journey to Ephesus to find out how the Exiles intend to react to Cato's will... I do not hold out much hope

    Sextus Pompeius
