Porcia could feel the anger surge through Brutus; his proud senatorial face was struggling not to look cross. She grabbed his arm gently, causing Brutus to look at her. She said very quietly,
“Isn’t Sextus like his father? Proud and brave.” Brutus quirked an eye brow at her oddly and whispered,
“He insulted you. Don’t you realize that?” Porcia smirked and replied, chiding him slightly,
“Naturally, but now is not the time to point fingers over moments of unchecked anger, Brutus.” Brutus sighed and lightly hugged Porcia, gathering her against his side.
“As you wish.” Sextus Pompey came back, still irritated looking.
“Sextus, we will leave in the morning to see my father. Thank you for saving me.” Porcia said.
