There are a lot of applets out there that allow various games to be played on-line, and many of them are free. I found one that simulates a scratch-off game card, and it has been incorporated into my advent calendar for the Saturnalia 2005. I paid a $6 fee for a single-use license, which I thought was a reasonable amount. I also found one which simulates a sliding puzzle. It was free, so I tried to post it here for your entertainement, but it didn't launch. Sorry about that... You can find it here if you are curious.
