Sextus was really getting impatient. With the size of the force he had brought and the terrain they had to traverse it was taking far too long for his liking. Finally he decided to take action. Leaving the XXVth under the command of Marcus Gessius, the young son of his father's proxy in Rome, and then telling Cn. Domitius Ahenobarbus that he is taking 100 cavalry on ahead to his father. The Exile general can join Sextus or stay with the joint force, either way Sextus leaves the army and speeds on ahead without stopping.
He will arrive in Xanthos in less than 1 day IRL
