Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

Ahenobarbus agrees to allow Sextus to collect his father in Lycia. He will march with his 500 cavalry and Auxiliary legion as an escort for Sextus.

He is careful to point out that he does not consider Cato’s willing of the troops valid and does not submit to Sextus’ authority. If Sextus wants to aid the true Republic, he may, but under Domitius’ authority (de facto, Domitius is in military command of the Exiles, their Senate is yet to move to declare a successor, let alone legislate).

OOC: Sextus moves his XXV and cavalry to Lycia, along with Domitius who takes his 500 cavalry and the II Republica. ETA 6 days IRL (rough terrain + 10,000+ men)
