Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

    Of the plunder taken from the sack of Issus, Sextus Pompeius has been allowed by his father to retain possession of it himself and to distribute it however he sees fit. And so the distribution goes as follows:-

    Sextus Pompeius keeps a quarter for himself - 970,006

    Lucius Afranius a tenth - 388,002

    Quintus Cicero a tenth - 388,002

    Prince Xabier a twentieth - 194,001

    Ausos a twentieth - 194,001

    Alexandrius (Egyptian commander) a twentieth - 194,001

    Each Roman soldier, numbering 10,587, receives 120 Dn.

    XXVth - 4873 men split 584,760
    IXth - 4747 men split 569,640
    XXVth cavalry - 238 men split 28,560
    IXth cavalry - 238 men split 28,560
    Sextus's Cohort - 491 men split 58,920
    ================================================================
    Total - 1,270,440

    Each allied soldier, numbering 3349, receives 75 Dn.

    Vasconi - 1227 men split 92,025
    Egyptians - 1373 men split 102,975
    Nabataeans - 749 men split 56,175
    ================================================================
    Total - 251,175

    For those keeping score, that is a total of 3,849,628 Dn distributed. The remaining 30,397 goes immediately into the building of Alexandria Magna
