Rutilius Rufus takes Pompey's advice and leaves town, although his troops are not happy at not having a chance to loot. They mumble all the way to the fleet but Rutilius reminds them that Cato's punishment is not pleasant, and that they in fact have not completed their assignment since they did not catch the lady Porcia - Pompey did.

So they go aboard without further trouble, and after some hesitation Rutilius decides to sail to Patara as he hopes to find Cato there, but to send two ships with one cohort after Pompey.

OOC: If Pompey does indeed sail for Cilicia he will not find Cato there - as he has clearly been told by Rutilius. So what does he plan to do with Porcia?
