Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

"Rufus my friend, I fully intend to have those responsible dealt with. In fact after todays display, I can think of no worse fate for them than to leave them to Marcus Antonius."

Rufus did not look happy with that.

"Now I know that that does not sit well with you but I think that what is best for us is to return to Asia and bring Porcia back to her father.

I have a bad feeling about what might happen if we stay here. Antonius is too erratic and unpredictable. It would not surprise me if he tried to recover Porcia from us to present to Cato himself."

    "So you are leaving?"

"Immediately. And I suggest that you do too."

OOC: Pompeius and his men immediately gather up their gear and head for the harbour and their awaiting fleet. They will travel to the area near Alexandria Magna (Issus). THe journey will take 3 days IRL
