I got about two weeks ago, but had to upgrade my OS...so I have only been fiddling with it for a few days now. Highly customizable interface, very clean....lots of work area. Workflow is clean. even though it is very different than Autocad, the workflow that is most natural in Silo is very much like the way "oldtimer" ACad users worked in Autocad. Silo is a subD modeling program.

Inexpensive, but with a toolset and interface that the bigboys are stealing from...Its current stable version is 1.42. So it is still a young program, but the creators have been supporting it and its users almost too well. Version 2 which is due sometime this year will support UV mapping and surface displacement painting...COOL!

Hopefully, I'll be posting a wip or two soon.
