Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

Aulus was busying himself with nautical pursuits these days. The two Spanish legions were currently under strength, but Aulus thought it better to simply train them for the time being instead of hiring up more soldiers. One thing at a time. Best to get a sound navy for the western Mediterranean up and running.

So, Aulus called for a modest construction of one squadron of Triremes and two half squadrons of both Liburnae and Biremes. These are being constructed at Tarraco and Carthago Nova, respectively.

In the meantime, he will be making a tour of the provinces and a visit to Gades…

OOC: The squadron of Triremes constitutes eight ships @ 300,000 Dn to build and 225,000 to maintain. The bireme/liburna squadron consists of ten vessels (5 of each) and is 225,000 Dn to build and 150,000 to maintain. These funds will be deducted from the Provinces income at the end of the game year.
