Welcome
Pax Inter Pares
Peace Between Equals. Caesar has crossed the Rubicon, but Civil War did not erupt. Caesar and Pompey stand together against the Republicans. In this alternative Rome, who will come out ahead? Or will anyone? You decide.

When the XXIIIrd and XXVIth legions of Pompeius Magnus arrive in Nicaea, there will be orders from their commander telling them to march across Exile territory to the Kingdom of Paphlagonia.

After ensuring its stability, they are to move onto Galatia where they will make sure that King Deiotaurus is not planning anything that will destablise the area. Deiotaurus will be allowed to complete the training of his legion but not to take any offensive action without the express consent of Rome.

From there, the legions will march on through Cappadocia and Commagene continuing to ensure the stability of the kingdoms. Then they will travel to what was Issus where they will join and come under the direct control of Sextus Pompeius.
