    I was just wondering about Caesar’s actual birth and Cal seems to have cleared that up. Although if Caesar added some months to get the year to start at the right time, then Quintilis was not in the summer as it should have been.

    Anyway, I still say we should celebrate according to the Julian (Old Style) calendar, where this year the 12th/13th correspond to the 25th/26th Gregorian (New Style).
