I love Haiku. Suck really bad at writing them but they are so fun. Mine are all idiotic with silly topics, yours are beautiful especially in comparison!
"Silk sweeter than fruit lies,
On her virgin snowdrop skin,
No sight to compare"
I think that is brilliant, it created a complete visual for me. Descriptive yet simple, I seriously liked it quite alot. If you have room for a group to join you should check out the 10 Philosopher's Haiku. It's in the Orient group list, dont have a link with me at the moment. Oh, and the question you posed about the haiku;
"Her peach sweet coloured robe,
Is no equal to the drenched
Robes of anguished red."
I imagine for everyone it's something different, maybe that's the whole point of the excersize even. But for me, it implies the author values a love or a relationship with someone more difficult or challenging. Like experience over innocence, heartbroken over naive, something like that. Maybe it's a memory, and the author is saying they prefer to remember the older, damaged woman than the young girl?
