    and walk up to the bar. "A bowl of kash," I order from the lady behind serving the customers. I then turn and peruse the other inhabitants of the place. An oversized bat has two ladies hanging out with him in the rafters, a couple foreigners are about to begin a drinking contest, and a few other Meso's are scattered throughout the large room. I turn back to get my bowl of kash and sip it carefully. I know what this strong concoction can do to me - no need to get that crazy before meeting the regulars.

    I smile at the room in general, and think to myself that this looks like the very place for my research.
